i worked for a dealership once they were cheap cr*p sold at top buck as if it was a good quality old rover

a friend owned a freelander that was at the main agents more than on her own drive , not being the brightest against her husbands wishes it was replaced by a modern (ish) MG saloon it was towed off the other day for yet another expensive repair and has not returned as yet

that was the good quality british product and why most production has gone west from the uk

we were shipping out cheap quality sh*te at a premium price in that respect i have more respect for the chinese product you know what you are getting for the price , it may or may not be good !!

but do you A buy a chinese product for 700 quid that may or may not be good , or B buy a british product for 1500 quid that may or may not be good ???

But, the people on $2.50 an hour (Now up to about $7.00 in 3 years) areno more than illiterate fools from fields. Two weeks training and they are putting aircraft parts together. They turn up at 7:30 and go home at shift end, not having used a single piece of initiative. Hopefully, the foreman or manager may have spent time at Uni or over in the West learning the correct way.

It aint going to go away, a crack can only grow and get worse.
It probably isn’t of concern because it is not part of the Wing Box. If it’s part of the L/e or T/e overhangs or panels, well…it can fly even if these ping off into the breeze. So long as it doesn’t hit the tail of course.

not completeley true a crack can be stopped by drilling a hole at the end of it !! but that does not get rid of what is sounding to be a design / materials problem for them to be there so early in a brand new aircrafts wing

whilst technicly it sounds a good idea i have watched the movement in the machines wings at manchester for a brand new idea of building the wings it may prove a costly error not testing for many years before commiting to such a costly preduction run

China? They will build cheap cars made to a very high level of accuracy. Out of the WRONG materials. Just like everything else they make.

believe me when i say the quality will be there in a quicker time scale than you think

the phrase shows just how backwards the british are they have the attitude no one can build things as good as they can for less ( strange how rover were still using honda engines till the last breath ( except making them worse than the honda equivelant ) and how it was less than ten years before that datsuns were called cheap jap crap made out of the wrong materials )

the british are bloody fools that stick to the same belief of the cinese now that they had of the japanese in the 70’s we have learned absoluteley rock all from past beliefs and mistakes !!

sadly it always falls on the manager if man u started losing everything tommorow the instant shout would be “sack ferguson !” his many years as an excellent manager would be of no considderation to the supporters

i personaly feel england teams have not had the fire and enthusiasm to win a major title since the italian world cup 1990

and i don’t think management is to blame it lies squarely with the enthusiasm and passion of the 11 on the pitch ( something management cannot give them if it isn’t in them !! )

You are never going to get the right people if you pay such poor wages !!!!! £6,000,000 PA for such a responsible job is a bit of an insult !!
