Its fairly hard to secure something against a thief with tools! If they have a long scaffold pole then the leverage they can put onto the base of the shutter is insane.

you don’t need tools if bolt locks are not fitted you merely need to get your fingers under the bottom and lift and wrench them out

a security shutter is only like any other door

if you don’t fit locks it is easy to get into

and 95% when asked if they require bolt locks at the base reply

shutters can be made more secure but you cannot help those that don’t want to listen because it is a little more expense or a little more inconvenient

when you look at the options such as , bush , amin , hirrohito , hitler , etc etc for the minimal cost to each individual i’d be happy to pay double for our royals , they have done far more for this country throughout the world than those that criticise !

The expensively fitted security shutters/grilles were so easily breached by these loot hungry nutcases? WHY?

speaking as someone who used to install security shutters , a lot of businesses are too tight to fit bolt locks to the guide rails at the bottom and the staff are too lazy to use them prefering a push button and go home method

fine and dandy but it reduces the effectiveness of the shutters by about 90% as they are p**s easy to lift up and pull out as shown

fraid it is tight arsed lazy britain showing its head again !!
