how on earth did you put a racist angle on an old journalistic mistake ???

they may have played in the kit before but the name stems from the stated tour

i’d bone up on your team if i was you !! it is a well known debate

greenham is now derelict it appears on many urban exploring and dereliction sites

i myself am pretty convinced that greenham was a decoy and they were probably everywhere else but there !!

costs relatively nothing to send genuine looking decoy nuke vehicles for the public to shout at

whilst the real ones are carried in plain vehicles like bedford 3 tonners or fodens !!

Why do New Zealand play in black for that matter (or Italy in blue or Australia in green and yellow)?

italys flag and royal colours were blue before they adopted the tricolour

englands is white because of the english flags base colour

australias were chosen because of the the primary colours of the national floral emblem the Golden Wattle

scotlands primary colour of st andrews flag or saltaire

new zealands all blacks dates back to a british tour and a journalists mistake

“But it did all begin with rugby. The story (as I recall it) was that it
arose from when the first NZ rugby team toured Britain (the 1905 team?)
with far more success than either they or the British expected. A British
sports journalist, impressed by the NZers unconventional style of play,
wrote that they played as if they were “all backs” (referring to the speed
and mobility of the forwards, a tradition continued to this day). A
printer’s error converted this to “all blacks”, the name stuck, and an
    all-black uniform was adopted.

I would buy one of you your own Spitfire……………… 😀

There must be an old British Leyland dog languishing in a scrapyard somewhere… :p

Seriously, I think I would take a wander down to Headly Court and drop a cheque for £10,000,000 in their collection jobbie on the counter

unrestored ones are becoming rarer on the ground , can still be found but prices are steadily climbing !!

most i’ve ever had was £5,000.00 having said that it was my own with no borrowing involved !!

i’ve always been happy not having a lot , my figguring is i’m not the most handsome chap , and in the event for some strange reason i should want to settle down it is a fair chance a woman would be there for the right reason

if i did win that much i would be sterrelised and have a whole chain making sure they were ditched a month before any legal entitlement ( they certainly wouldn’t be living with me !! )

but other far larger problems rear thier head with that amount of cash begging letters for cash , sometimes terrorist organisations are not as polite , always worrying who is outside the house , worrying about family members incase of kidnap and the whole list of other problems being exceptionaly rich brings

give me being skint anyday !! that’s why i don’t do the lottery

well that and the reality that it is a quid extra towards restoring my bike !!

As far as I am aware, we don’t get a choice to put someone who is suffering to ‘sleep’.

    .

actualy there is an ever growing campaign for it and if in the position to afford it there is no law stopping you going to dignitas

if i was at the point of having no life quality and daily unbearable pain i hope someone would do it for me !!

but that is of course off topic

and we are failing to reccognise my point i don’t feel killing for food is cruel in any form

if you hang a chicken upside down by its feet on a production line to go in to be stunned by an electric charge in a water bath , you can bet your bottom dollar it isn’t that thick that it hasn’t worked out that there’s some bad s**t comming up !!

death is death wichever way you pretend to tidy it up !!

but it is to feed people

however, intended cruelty to an animal just for kicks as the OP posted is a whole difrent matter

and as many have quite correctly said i prey they get thier just deserts !!

and that was the difrence i was trying to point out !!

however an animal is killed for food the end result is the same it is dead for food !!

at the end of the day with a sharp knife and done quickly i don’t see that much difrence to killing in any of its forms

but the huge overwhelming difrence in the O.P was cruelty done just for fun it is a world appart

i always find the argument of animal suffering very humourous from people that will put a dog to sleep if it is terminaly ill yet will watch a human fight to the bitter end !!
