Thanks for the reply. I believe that the yellow was added for daylight ops., so probably from mid-44 onwards – but thanks anyways.
Pretty sure I do – I think that the one on the right is FO Percy Burton of 249 Sqn, KIA 27 Sep 1940. Buried at Tangmere.
