usernamechanged,
You have some nice rifles there. I really like the bull barrel on that ruger. I bet it is a great varmint gun. What type of scopes do you have on your Ruger and Sako?
I will post some pics of my soon to be wife’s Ruger 6.5×55 Swede and my Ruger .357 magnum handgun. I am only down to one rifle and one handgun now.
My arsenal use to include a Tikka .270, Winchester Model 94 30-30 lever action, a Romanian SAR-1 (AK-47 clone), a Sig Sauer Sig Pro .357sig, Ruger Mk.II .22LR and a Colt Target .22LR but I have sold all these guns and now down to two.

“Looks ok, but I really prefer a bit of nicely figured walnut for stock and forend.”
Too each thier own I guess! I see wood as old and obselete. I also live in harsh weather conditions so wood does not hold up well in my part of the world.
“Why are you so proud of something that brings death and destruction?” Planemike
99% of the time i only target shoot and only hunt 1% of the time. In the last three years I have only harvested two deer. If you have a problem with death and destruction then why do you come here since a big part of this forum is dedicated to military aviation. Go over to that forum and you will see weapons built for death and destruction.
“I’d be happy to settle for 1 MOA as that’s still only 1″ @ 100yards. Unless you use a bench rest there aren’t many who can benefit from any better accuracy.” mike currill
That was with a bench rest and a lead sled. I am not that good shooting free hand. Luckily for me the deer I hunt are big targets.

Shoots nice!
Well the weather was good today and I went through a whole box of shells. The rifle is a tack driver and I was shooting 1/2 MOA at 110yds. I am very excited for hunting season this year!

Sounds like a huge waste of money. I know Brazil has been working on a SSN since the mid 80s. I cringe to think how much money they have thrown away on this project. Now they want another country to throw a bunch of money away on a white elephant. If Brazil and Argentina do succeed and build a SSN it will probably be as noisy as an Alfa Class Sub at full speed unless France transfers a lot of new technology which I highly doubt. If Brazil and Argentina want boomers in their arsenal then nuke power is the best way to go but if they just want attack subs then they should be investing all that money into conventional subs IMO.
SIGMA Class Corvettes
The Sigma Class Corvettes looks like it has two 4-cell Mistral launchers. Does anyone know the name of this launcher. I was only aware of the 2-cell Simbad launcher and the 6-cell Sadral launcher. Any idea why they chose the 4-cell launcher over the 6-cell Sadral??
Where are all the pics.
You need to start uploading some pics of aircraft, the base, and some of the other students. I have seen some crazy pics from friends who are in the same position as you.
Carrier?
How many Rafales can be deployed on her carrier?? That has to give the Rafale an advantage over any other aircraft!

Hope away but it will almost certainly not happen, France has stopped selling new weapons to Taiwan in the hope that when they get the embargo on China lifted they will go on a spending spree. Taiwans only real option is itself and the US.
I believe that the contract for the frigates included upgrades. So if Taiwan wanted to upgrade her fleet of frigates with the 16-cell MICA VL launcher then that would be looked at as an upgrade and would fall under the original contract.
A TC-2 vertical launch system would be nice but it would take too long to build a vertical launch system and modify the missile for use on ships. Since the MICA is already in service with Taiwan and is a very modern missile I believe Taiwan should upgrade her fleet with this missile and ditch the Chaparral systems.
