I think Malaysia wants to focus their Air Force around the Su-30 and will probably sell off their Mig-29 and F/A-18D fleets. What countries will be interested in these fighters?
“He announced that, as a consequence, the Indian Air Force would be placing an order next month for SpyDer missiles from Israel to make up for the void.”
Will the IAF introduce the Python-5 and Derby air to air missiles into their inventory or will these missiles just be introduced for air defense?
Sorry to get back on topic but does anyone have pics of these new ships for Malaysia?????
“Speaking of threatening, doesn’t Taiwan have assault ships and a tactical transport capability aimed at a possible Taiwanese invasion of the mainland?”
The assault ships and tactical transports would be used to reinforce Taiwan’s many islands from Chinese attack. Taiwan does not want to fight a war on Chinese territory.
“Hizbullah had Iranian C-807 missiles.”
C-807????
Idiots!!!
Did Taiwan look at the Super Hornet at all? Was the Super Hornet offered to Taiwan or was the Falconf their only choice?
The newest models of the Shahab-3 / Zelzal-3 missile have the 2,000km range. This missile is based on the North Korean No-Dong missile with some modifications / upgrades.
The Fajer-3 rocket has a range around 75km.
Two Tactical Fighter Squadrons covering the second biggest country in the world. That can’t be a good idea.
I was wondering if Kowsar went by another designation like C-102. Most weapons have a name and an offical designation. Everyone calls the AGM-114 the Hellfire missile. Just a thought.
Those were my thoughts exactly. I can’t believe these idiots get paid.
CNN and Fox news also reported that the missile that hit the Israeli corvette is an Iranian produced C-102 missile.
Fox News had animation and stats on the three missiles in Hezbollahs inventory.
1) C-102 anti-ship missile
2) C-802 anti-ship missile
3) Shahab-3 ballistic miisile.
Fox News then went over Hezbollah’s rocket inventory.
This is the first time I have ever heard of the C-102 missile!
Does Syria still have military units based in Southern Lebanon or have all those units been moved back within Syria’s borders?? Does Syria still operate SAM systems in Lebanon?

I was really hoping for the MD-900 to win. You have to like the NOTAR system.
“Btw An-70 is “dead”.”
I know it is dead and that is very sad since this is such a beautiful bird. I really hope some country will step up and fund the development and production of this aircraft so it may have a long service life but as each year passes that scenario is less and less likely.
“You’re not playing with a full deck are you Nelson? Do you really think you could get all that you said with the small budget assigned?”
Sure Ja; I bet buying brand new FC-1s from China would be cheaper than buying used Su-25s from the Ukraine. Oh I forgot.. You think China is going to “gift” all the fighters, bombers, and other equipment you wrote down. The only thing on my list that is impossible to purchase would be the An-70. All the other aircraft I listed is used. I do not know how much the SPYDER / Green Pine radar would cost but the investment would be well worth it if I wanted to start a shooting war with Chile and Brazil to get some land.
