I just saw the same report at 7.50 am and was baffled why they twice referred to Liberty Belle as a replica!
Is it the ‘Original’ Liberty Belle?

I’ll tag my pictures on here as well rather than start a new thread.

I shall be arriving by Motorbike any good places to park ? or do you get sent to a designated area?.
Also is there a good time to tour the Museum, am or pm ?
Stangman
I ride a bike and if you arrive from the M11 end then you enter through the main museum entrance and park next to 2 Hanger, where TFC live. Dead easy to get out afterwards as well. As has already been mentioned, tour the hangers at a later date when there are less people about.
Does anyone know where the disabled parking is for Flying legends and the other shows?
Ollie
Don’t know about the American Air Museum end of the airfield but disabled parking at the M11 end is between the crowd line and AirSpace hanger.

Hopefully I’ll get to see it fly at Farnborough:D
Brian
Considering that it is just a one off permission to fly, I do think the title of this thread needs changing.
Brian
I think you might find that it has permission to fly to Waddo but not display, yet.

If any one doesn’t know about the air show shuttle bus from Cambridge Clicky here and scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Someone else I spoke to said you need to be there for 7 to avoid the jams!
I get there for 9 o’clock and there are no problems traffic wise. Has your friend was ever been to Legends? and I suggest your friend is talking twaddle.

My dad’s dad was in the RFC and moved to the RAF when it was formed in 1918 and his wife was one of the first entrants of the WRAAF, I think it was called then, with a service number of 9. My dad was in the RAF and apparently my first experience of RAF life was being held upside down by the ankles, in an RAF Hospital, and given a good slapping by a Wing Commander . Have lived on or around and worked on RAF camps ever since then.
