Yes I used a tripod and long exposures !
Wimp š
I’ll be back down again after they finish their spring clean next week.

It was using a 10-18mm wide angle lens and at the 10mm end it does distort the image a bit.
I can see the B-17 though, just.:D

Duxford in HDR
For the last few visits to Duxford I’ve been experimenting/trying out the in-camera HDR function and that’s HDR to enhance detail and not the wacky way out colours that some people think is HDR. Camera takes three images with different exposures, and overlays the correct exposure with the bright areas of an under exposed image and the dark areas of an over exposed image and micro shuffles them so they line up. These are all hand held with high-ish ISO and shutter speeds. Using a tripod would probably have been better.

Just a quick edit to see what they might look like and by the time I had walked down to the station I was hungry again š

An excellent day out and nice to put faces to a few Forum names. Many thanks to TwinOtter for his hospitality and the ‘Mince-less’ Mince pie. See posts above :diablo:

Not as much snow as the day before – but enough. A bit slippy under foot in a few places and once the wind got up the wind chill increased significantly.

Just giving the ‘Panorama Mode’ on the Sony NEX-5N a bit of an airing. The day started with bright sunshine and it was raining when I left.

Had to Google what coeliac was. Wish I hadn’t now as apart from ‘repeated miscarriages’ I think I have most of those symptoms š
The symptoms of coeliac disease (spelt celiac in America) vary from person to person and can range from very mild to severe.
Possible symptoms may include:
diarrhoea, excessive wind, and/or constipation
persistent or unexplained gastrointestinal symptoms, such as nausea and vomiting
recurrent stomach pain, cramping or bloating
any combination of iron, vitamin B12 or folic acid deficiency
tiredness and/or headaches
weight loss (but not in all cases)
mouth ulcers
hair loss (alopecia)
skin rash (dermatitis herpetiformis (DH))
tooth enamel problems
osteoporosis
depression
infertility
repeated miscarriages
joint and/or bone pain
neurological (nerve) problems such as ataxia (poor muscle co-ordination) and neuropathy (numbness and tingling in the hands and feet).
