Interesting that the “Walk Inboard” marking is only on the left hand wing? and also interesting rear view mirror (shrouded)

2D .DXF files are never very large – even for complex drawings – prob only a couple of meg or so….

    Yes that’s right.

But when you make the laser cutting program, the program is very much larger and the machine controller. Can only read so much information……….

    Hello

I also did one where the detail was engraved on the spitfire!

    Difficult to photograph.

Was Drawn in Autocad in 2D, as I trained as a Technical Illustrator. Sigmanest Laser cutting Software.

    Hello

I thought the BBMF Spitfire P7350, was to be used for some of the filming as It wears Geoffrey Wellum’s 92 Sqd Battle of Britain codes? for this season.

They used quite few static airframes, and started restoring the Stuka. I cant understand why they didnt use Hurricane P2617?

    Or Spitfire X4590?

Hello slightly off topic, I was born in singapore in 1965 and adopted by a english couple in the RAF, in 1968.

I remember Robinsons and meeting father christmas there, “was going to tell him what I wanted for christmas, bur ended up not saying a word”

I remember Belverdears flying overhead and I believe Andovers as well. I always had an intrest in Aircraft….

Anyway I hope these photos bring back some memorys to others

Yeah, that’s the publicty/cover blurb from all the DVD websites!

It also has two other sections, One on pre flight checks on the Mk2 BBMF spitfire by Squadron leader Paul Day, and the rear seat position in a flypast in the Irish livery TR9 (without sound?)

The main part of the disc runs for about 55mins, excluding the two seperate sections.

    Hope that helps
