Does anyone know which MYT/TCX aircraft is currently BHX based and which type will be operating my SKI charter to Sofia.

A320 G-CRPH at the moment, wearing full TCX scheme.

G-FTDF is now based at BHX and wears full TCX scheme including the globe. Yesterday, G-BYTH positioned out for its paint job.

Dont mean to dash your hopes, but I have been to BHX before and I didnt really enjoy it much. The only thing I do like about it is the gift shop!

In terms of traffic though, all there was a couple of Flybe Dash 8’s/ERJ’s, an Eastern Airways JS41 and the Emirates 777, thats about it. I got really bored, so I took a wander round the terminal and then went home!

Ok its not the best airport in terms of movements (especially this time of the year) but BHX has a decent amount of good movements such as the Air India 777, EK 773ER, all the baby 737’s, flybe fleet, Monarch, all the usual charter and business traffic. More than what ‘Cloud 9’ makes out.

So if that website doesn’t answer all of your questions, email me as I run the website (http://www.flyintobhx.co.uk)

No connection Allen AFAIK, the downsizing of tomorrows flight is very odd as it is 100% fully booked all classes, the unlucky pax being routed via England, must be some sort of operational thing, i fly EK a week on wednesday and have been told it will be a 773.

I work on EK check-in here at BHX and if I remember correctly, EK sub-chartered a flybe DH4 which flew approx 50 PAX from GLA-BHX (I’m guessing it was on the day of the GLA down-grade). Makes sense now as I rememeber somebody telling me that the GLA aircraft was down-graded. I had to deal with these PAX and they certainly were not happy but were given food vouchers!

Yes I didnt see it coming either and it is fab news for BHX! Also see that Ryanair is expanding also!

Apparently a mixture of 73G’s and A319’s, also to be operated by both Easyjet UK and Easyjet Switzerland. Although yet to be confirmed. All the details are now online on my website….

An airline I handle, we offer an extra 8kg (our discretion) on top of a 20kg allowance. If your nice… you can have it :p

Just checked in with bmi and they dont seem to be caring too much about baggage these days! I was 5kg over at 25kg and other people were able to check in multiple bags totalling 30Kg plus per passenger as well as quite a few checking in 25kg-30kg too.

I always thought bmi were quite strict but they dont seem to be today!

Air Berlin on BHD-STN last thursday literally let anything on without a charge. Some asked if they had to pay for having 3 bags 10kgs each and were told no it was included!

I work for them and am recieving no problems…
and yes you do get emergency tax when you first start (at any job) – and yes you do get it all back eventually which is back-dated.
Which airport do you work at mate? (reply private if you wish).
