When Thomsonfly change to TUIfly (apparently next Summer 2007), will they be going Yellow? or will they just re-brand but keep the TUI blue?
Is that yellow colour rebrand for real ? or is it just a transition livery for HLX?
It’s their new scheme as this a/c was in the full blue Hapagfly scheme and it is a yellow rebrand.
I’ve noticed recently on a Turkish 738 (TC-JFL) pic posted on a recent MAN posting that some carriers are now blocking out the eye-brow cockpit windows on their a/c.
I’ve found a good example, a Southwest…
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1143641/L/How many other carriers are doing this? Didn’t think airlines would bother doing this but is abviousley cheaper….
I can see Ryanair doing this….
I know that 737NG’s are being delivered without eye-brow windows (and have been for ages now) but what I forgot and didn’t make clear in my posting was that I was just on about carriers that have existing aircraft that are having their eye-brow windows filled. The link in my first posting linked to a Southwest 737 with these windows filled in, this a/c once had eye-brow windows.
Thanks ‘adamdowley’ for your reply. Was just wondering who else has had its aircraft eye-brows blocked with this kit.
Heres another pic of what I mean….

Looks like an LTU to me too, looks like theres red above the windows or is it just me? lol. You can see the red line below the windows too…..
Sorry I couldnt make it I had to meet bro and sis from school after work. If I did come I could have drove you a little futher up the road which is alot better for photography espeically for 10 landings and 28 take offs. Just a pity its so far away.
No problem, think I saw you when I passed through arrivals. You was calling somebody at the front of your desk.
Flying in on the FR553 at 08:50 from MAN. Back on the FR558 departing 21:20. Plan to spot if weather is decent.
Cheers again 🙂
I would, but Ryanair would just try & buy me out! 😀
haha!
Is there an Enthusiast website on DUB at all?
Cheers for that! Pitty it don’t operate on Thursdays!
Good afternoon every one.
I have just took advantage of easyjets autumn sale and booked a flight from Newcastle to Bristol for £27.98 leaving Friday 20th October returning monday 23rd. Flying on an easy 737-700 for the first time in a year!!
Im Actully heading to see a mate in Swansea but deceided to use easyjet to Bristol as it is allot cheaper than useing Eastern to Cardiff.
Any who i was wondering whats Bristol like for aircraft movements any good places to go view aircraft etc??
thanks
Luke.
Aren’t all Easyjet flights into BRS operated by A319’s?
It’ll be operating training flights into BHX soon, movements have been posted on my website on the ‘interesting movements’ page at http://www.thebhx.co.uk
You prob saw me then! Where was you sitting? I was in row 10EF.
I flew out in CELC (Jo Whiley) the morning before (tue), also had a dark grey nose. Wonder where these noses have come from?
MAN – AMS I was on Jet2 London with the dark nose, and on the return I was on Jet2 Manchester, so no I didn’t see it take off, I was on it! :p
Did you see Jet2Mancheser B733 G-CELI take off? As I was onboard. Was my aircraft home.
Yeah when I was in Lanzarote the AEA Madrid flight was very popular with them using a regular A332 and B763 on the route along with the usual B738. I got great photos of both!
I really enjoyed it at ACE, you get some fab stuff in there along with the gorgeous sunshine! Hope to go again in the future!
