Look, some of the negative aspects of capitalism came to the fore when Germany was struggling. Bankers were being bankers, and to the man in the street it seemed wrong that they stayed fat cats through a depression. People got angry. Familar?

There was a boycott of German goods in a number of countries as a protest at the increasing violence and oppression against jews in Germany. Often this was organised locally by jewish groups. Unsurprisingly.

Blaming anti-nazi protest for the holocaust is low, even for a Breitbarter.

Missing airfields are very likely censored. The collection that the National Libraries of Scotland have, which were taken on behalf of the Ordnance Survey inmediately post-war (and which I presume were from the same series as the ‘1946’ set held by Historic England) have had field boundaries, rivers, roads, buildings and trees carefully painted in over airfields.

Google tend to make things up as they go along. I expect ‘1940’ sounded best for wartime images of Kent.
