The Meteor looked splendid and your shots do it justice. A great set.
Ed
That’s a very nice trio of F-16 shots at the start of the set. The secon one with the condensation is the best for me.
Ed
The sixth and last one work best for me.

cracking shots wish I had have been there.
two good sets there from both Simon and Steven..
The air display was excellent for the venue. Also, there were some nice cars there too. Having the C-47 use Rougham was a bonus, it took off in less than half the runway length.
Another bonus was the ‘Spirit of Kent’ Spitfire, as the best aerobatic display of the day.
I can’t resist adding my shiny B17 shot…

High res images of volcanic plume
A visual interpretation of the ash plume can be seen to the South of Iceland, being absorbed into a low pressure zone to the North West of Scotland.

I have been following this topic, but some things are still unanswered. Can anyone help?
Steven
With Sigma it’s best to try one out in the shop before buying, they do not always have as strong a reputation as other manufacturers, but get a good one and it gets excellent results.
Can you post an example from your lens?
All are Sigma 150-500 pictures here http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=93485

I spotted the Sigma 120-400mm f/4.5-5.6 DG OS HSM (Nikon AF), and wondered if anyone had any experience of it?
I have the similar but slightly larger Sigma 150-500mm OS HSM and use it regularly for airshows with a Nikon D700. It’s internal motor focuses quickly and the OS is a great help. This Sigma lens range works well for me.

Good set of shots. The landing Hurricane and Spitfire shots are best, for me.
Steve
The vapour captures on the Typhoon are superb.
The Hurricane taking off is another good capture.
Steve
Really good set of shots all round.
I like the Guinot pose best, with the nice angle on the triplane a close second.

Great capture of the Reds triplet, F-18, and the last shot of the 757. Saturday was obviously the day to go, as I got soaked on Sunday!
Steve
Very nice captures on the F-16 and helos.
On the £2 voluntary fee, this is very cheap for an air display with such a variety of types. On Thursday most people were contributing as they went in and more, but I wonder what proportion of the £10 park and ride went to the display.
