Periphery – Icarus Lives

Easily one of my favourites at the moment, cd hasnt left my car for over a month.

Its the same car as ive got in the garage 😉 3rd Gen Mazda RX7 🙂

The engine is a little special however, the standard engine is a twin rotor wankel twin turbo

The engine im building is a quad rotor n/a engine 2.6 litre. Its a bit special to be honest. Its a homebrew version of the engine that won mazda Le Mans in 1989.

Basically due to the rotary engine being of a modular design, instead of having the endplate after two housings, you have it after four and utilise three mid plates instead of one.

What makes me sceptical about time travel back in time is that we haven’t seen any time travellers yet

What makes you think that time travellers would make themselves known, they’d look (id imagine) just like any of the other 6 billion people that live here :p 😀

If I was a time traveller, I certainly wouldnt be telling people about it 😀

Knowing that in the not too distant future, My current mazda weekend toy will be turning out over 600bhp at the wheels and sound like this… with a 10,000 rpm rev limit

Not bad from a 2.6 litre Naturally aspirated engine eh 😎
