go for it? 🙂
thats a very fair point, i dont think many ex Raf types can boast a 20% preservation rate (aside from aircraft that had only one of their type built) though if its flying im not sure if its preserved, im sure it will be at the end of its career
as morbid as it sounds, does anyone have any pictures of this? 🙁
is that a drawing of a B.1a?
this the sort of tug ur looking for? :p

there is a fullspread picture of the spitfire illustrated above in the december 2007 issue of aeroplane monthly followed by an article called “Spitfire Women” makes for a cracking read (the picture in question matches the shceme of the above picture with a 4 on the tail dated 1948.
i knew id seen that aircraft before!
i saw the one of PA474 almost losing it not long ago definitely a heart stopping moment!

that looks reasonably believeable lol wonder how interesting it would have been to fly 😉
crazy, have you got a picture of it to hand?
ever seen that snap of the F-14 with one wing swept back and the other locked forwards? That is 100% genuine for sure.
is that possible?
I am sure the Saunders Roe jet flying boat survives
wasnt the SR-1 a prototype? (ie not a production aircraft) there was also the jet/rocket mixed propulsioni interceptor thats now at cosford (SR.53?)
saw it last night and managed to scoff at the wierd beaufighter internal configuration. the single line at the end of the film was the funniest part of the whole thing except the football played with communist chinese soldiers (as footballs) 😀
aaah, thanks for that info 🙂
