I rang Douglas equipment and forwarded them a couple of photographs of the old girl, their parts chap is looking into it to see if he can find out what it is! 🙂

there seem to be in places a light ish blue under the paint, in others just seems to be standard olive drab? Would it have had any stencils on it??

I know though that the cab is a major bodge, would realistically remove that and restore it to an original state

Pretty sure ‘232 is still in service, my mate up at kinloss said that out of the aircraft for disposal, XV232 was the best of the lot? recently had a major or something like that
