Privatisation of defense industry is the way forward, nothing like 2-3 companies vying for every indegenous contract ahh….
What in the Rafale is non-french ??
Simply put it won’t be the IAC if done in a foriegn yard.
Russia is, but I think the stated range and actual range can vary. Not every one plays fair in these things…
The world laughs at Indians and does not take them seriously because they are always worried to impress the wrong crowd. And all some can do is feel better sitting in front of their computers and typing trash and think that they have achieved something.
Yes true trying to impress the wrong crowd, like with the Vikramaditya Fiasco…..
Well what I said was the range is in compliance of MTCR so no question of violation not now not in the future , if India needs a better range ( ~ 1000 Km ) , they need to develop something from scratch based on Brahmos experience.
Or that’s what they tell you, the only one who knows it are the ones who operate it. Its not like people are going to come and check the range…..and during war no body will care abt MTCR.
The export versions (if any) can have a software lock 🙂
Jawad the 290 Km range can be to fool the international community….only fools would believe missile proliferation is not happening..
With this discovery the LTTE will go down in the history as the first terrorist organization to develop underwater weapons. Also, the LTTE is the first terrorist outfit to introduce suicide bombers to the world and to develop naval and air arms.
Terrorist book of records….
I do not, and thats why it would do well against ships and small specefic targets. It will struggle to take out big buildings, complexes, runways etc.
How did they get there ? Inflight refuelling ? Or do they have adequate range to reach USA without IFR ?
I have a question about the use of CFTs in HAF. Do your Block 52+ always carry them ?
I’m really not sure thats the case these days. China has advanced rapidly and will eclipse Russia in most areas in terms of technology research and weapon systems within a few decades if not less.
We will see. 🙂
Because they doubt the neutrality of your courts. Its too much of a risk, now some people will believe one story and others the other. There is always a risk at finding out the truth if its ruled that their version is not correct, it will be bad for them. Its common sense not to go.
I am talking about it being built in a European shipyard compared to the IACs. I am not comparing it to the Vikramaditya. Which is a screw up of enormous proportions.
IAC built in India will be cheaper than built in Europe.
Courts in Greek have a bad reputation in being slow and complicated, but they are just and impartial!
Moreover the pilot (…and his government ) reserves the right, to keep appealing until either the trial reaches the supreme court, or even a EU court.
Like I said the worst thing would be him being found guilty by a lower court and then the Greek govt. saying OK as a good measure we are acquitting him.
Now that would **** the Turks off big time.
