I think closing the hangars is a great idea apparently they used to close the whole site in winter so a TFC was telling me

The single seater won’t be progressing anytime soon, unless they manage to find a replacement wing centre section. Sadly it slipped it’s jacks and split the main spar.

just fwd of the screw section ( you cant see it ) is a collar riveted to the inner steel tube this stops the screwed section coming to far fwd
