Here’s my contribution:
Great news, keep us posted.
Just been watching John Nichols programme. He’s a very jammy b.
Great show though.
Mike BH seems to show no animosity towards the CAA, even though they wouldn’t let him finish rebuilding G-BBD in the UK for its ferry flight.
Great shame. Hope they are able to reconsider, if requested.

The engine growl just as Robert Pleming starts to talk is what does it for me.
Website Now Back On-Line
And the latest newsletter is available for download
Pleased to note that we have been mentioned in it 😀
But unfortunately no way on their website yet for anyone to actually take advantage of our offer 🙁
Well, it’s still down.
Just keeping the thread alive – but if anyone has any news would be happy to hear it.
Coventry Aviation put many older prop-liners to work, and (used to) show them off every so often. Don’t know if their airshow is run any more.
Yes, yes, I know, these don’t have props – but – well I think it shows that older aircraft can be run profitably.
Apparently we’ll each get a free issue of FlyPast for every fifty sensible postings.
Blimey, your gonna need a Galaxy to get your lot delivered!
😀
Has he a duel personality? – Nermal
No – he’s simply registered Steve’s real name as his own username in leiu of the banned username Kittyhawk.
He could have used titwillow or (if not used already) Tony Blair – which would probably have been more suitable!
😉
Exemplary news.
Next you’re going to tell me that you don’t put ice in your ice tea
OMG – Ice in Tea – don’t let the little old ladies in this country hear you spouting such heresey.
Lipton’s do some tinned thing, but it’s about as popular as biting your own toenails.
A Sea Harrier attack would have been great!
An old warhorse doing it for an old warhouse – good idea.
FRADU Hawks will still be used, I believe – although they’re privately owned, they’re still considered part of the FAA.
I was thinking that the Navy should have finished her off with an air attack – Yeovilton & Culdrose both within easy reach.
Then (or maybe before) a flypast by the RNHF. There were literally thousands of people there, would have been a great publicity coup.
What a great opportunity they missed to show us all the Seahawk 😀
Think you got the better shots though, Newboy. It was a little bit out of reach for my S5000, even with the 1.5 extension lens (15x Optical).
Mind you, I got it on video too – and that’s quite nice.
When I get time I’ll turn it into a wmf.
Gone – the last parts of HMS Scylla that was seen above water.
