And Sh&tehawk doesn’t fit at all!!!
Actually – they each make a very cool montage. (What’s the plural of montage?)
I’d just like to say that I don’t mind aircraft being painted other than in their service colours, so long as it’s a good, interesting and (especially where sponsorship is concerned at least) varied.
The 2004 G-CVIX should have a different paint scheme from a 2003 one! Simply to date the photographs, if nothing else!!!!!
Yep, I’ll be there on 13 June too Gents.
just waiting for day when we get a Gannet over the house
If it’s got twin Mamba’s you’re ok, but the various b****y seabirds that fly over my car make an awful, regular, mess!
🙁
Well I’m planning to attend DX on 6th – as naturally assumed it would be the only place to be, but that might change as I’m also down to go on Sep 4.
I can’t help thinking that something else must have been the real cause of both jacks breaking simultaneously. The tail wheel is fluttering long before the actual collapse.
Could something have gotten caught up in the tailwheel assembly, which stopped that wheel freewheeling? If that wheel was in a constant braking condition there would, surely, be secondary effects?
Seconded
If you look very carefully (I viewed in full screen mode (right click, select zoom as the video plays)) You can see the main undercarriage – not sure what this might signify – but you can just see the starboard wheel sort of clunk forward and upward. I also think the tyre bursts simultaneously.
Its almost as if the brakes have locked on.
The similar size Victor looks spot-on.
Yes, and the model cars and people stood in front of her were quite well done too.
😀 😀
Seriously, yes, there is something not quite right about the entire nose section.
Very nice shot of XH558
Thank you Sir.
Straight off the camera – merely squashed and compressed. No clarification or fade correction or anything else.
Anyone see our Beech?
The one without elevators?
Did indeed, you wheeled her right past us as we waited patiently in our cars to gain entrance. Resplendant she looked.
Anyone notice that it’s Star Wars Day today? 😮
May the forth be with you!!!!
Got a few more pics on my personal website – link below – here’s a taster:-
Looks like I’ll be making another long trip early September – 4th Duxford, then 5th Brunty. Cool 🙂 I must get some deeper pockets!
CDRs are cheap – save them at the highest possible quality. Indeed, simply copy the original files. Scan them at the best possible image resolution you can, too. Then catalogue your CDs so you know what’s where.
I’m presuming your need is to keep these images for the future, rather than worry about how few CDs you can squeeze them on to.
That way, whatever your needs might be in the future, you’ll have as close to the original as you can get.
Write protect any image files you have on your hard drive, which haven’t been written to CD – so that you don’t accidentally overwrite with edited/cropped or loss of quality through compression differences.
