Don’t think slots are DUS are easy to get, definately not the well timed slots. DUS has capacity mid day, but not that much during the morning. Night flights are not allowed/restricted as well. besides, with DUS’s charges a loco might get too expensive?

I noticed that Virgin Express is offering lower fares to those people that lost their tickets due to the Vbird bankruptcy. Why are they doing that? Is it just for PR value, or could it be that Branson is interested in VBird? Anyone within Virgin happens to know?

The current livery is indeed a former world tail livery, the so called “Chatham Dockyard” livery.
The new livery was not introduced with the airbusses though. Some of the airbusses used to have world tails, though not a lot and none of the A319s. In fact, I believe on of them still has the whale rider livery.

No not at all.
KLM’s 777s are named after world heritage sites. Hardian’s wall, Borobodur, Chitzen Itza etc. Only PH-BQA was named out of sequence, it is named Albert Plesman after the original founder of KLM. His name used to grace a 747 classic, but since they where retired the name was transferred to a 777.
Other names in the KLM fleet include birds (737 NGs), international cities KLM (used to) fly to (747s), cargo ships of the past (747Fs) and explorers (737 classics) as well as a few others.
