MP does do charter flights, so if Fans Trans International pays enough MP will fly there.

I don’t think the launch orders should be counted in the 250 planes to break even tally. The launch orders are given at large discounts. Most of the manufacturers sell their new models at cost price or even below! Once the A380 has been flying commercial flights I think normal prices will have to be paid, and the counting down to 250 starts.

I don’t think China Southern operate to LHR. As far as I know there is a treaty limiting the amount of airlines flying to/from China (exception for Hong Kong for obvious reasons). Something similar to the US/UK Bermuda treaty.

In the back, those VOlga Dnepr An-124s, are they new ones or old ones undergoing maintenance?

The ground is a bit lower so it appears the gear is gone. Just an illusion as Moondance already mentioned.

The Tu-334 seems to have a very short landing gear even by western standards! Aren’t they affraid this wil cause damage on the underside when using badly maintained runways? There are still a lot of those in the CIS and they are gonna be likely destinations for the Tu-334.

During the flight the flies get smashed on it. After the plane lands and stops at the gate the flies fall off. 🙂
