    thanks,

    expectations are for her to grace the sky in 2004. Probably not a very elaborate airshow schedule, but some shorter flights. At least the shuttle run to Lelystad which seems to be a few months from now (no exact date given).

    The Dutch connie has 4 engines again, sicne the previous engines where merely on loan from the Connie at Le Bourget.

    New propellors have also been delivered at Schiphol Oost where people are still working on the Dutch Connie. 12 blades complete with hubs, spiders and dome. They are hamilton standards so they are hydraulically adjustable (translating from Dutch so excuse spelling errors, my technical English isn’t that good). With these and the old props the plane has now a complete set.

    The interior is also progressing rapidly. Nonetheless it is not known yet when the Connie will fly to its new home at Lelystad Airport.

    Soon a engine test will be done with the #3 engine.

    Regular updatse are posted at the Aviodrome website, but for now only in Dutch. Maybe that later an English version is added.

    6) 116 years (1337 -> 1453)
    7) November 7 (red day I believe the English call it?)
    8) Albert (Was he Belgian by any chance? It is a traditional name in the Belgian royal house.)
    9) 30 years, duh
    10) A breed of large dogs (Latin name: Canarie Insulae ‘Island of dogs’)

    While we are at it, all these questions and answers with the exception of question 5 came from http://www.totse.com/. May I advice people to use google instead of common sense as these “pub-questions” are never logical!

    Call me cynical if you want for asking this, but will this badly affect Aero Vodochody? Since Aero Vodochody is partially owned by Boeing is there any risk the US government “asks” Boeing to re-evaluate its share? After all, the government has asked for favours in the past, largely ignoring the Paris Air Show for instance.

    At least one prototype remains at the Le Bourget museum.

    Highs:
    * Graduating from school! I’m may officially call me a bachelor of business and management.
    * Seeing the 3 Concordes come into LHR.
    * Getting a new camera, Sony F717.

    Lows:
    * Being workless, I have (had) some temporary simple jobs like order picking and cleaning but nothing I had trained for.
    * Finishing my graduation assignment. Even though I am very proud and happy I made it, I do miss my ex collegues at Europa Worldwide Logistics, Erith!

    Viper, it gets a lot better yet!

    There MIGHT be a new series! The massive sales succes of the DVD series apparantly made Warner Brothers realise that there still is some live in the series yet. Any announcement is going to be made late January/early Februari!

    Check this post at the message boards of http://www.b5tv.com! http://forums.b5tv.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=b5related&Number=228458&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1

    I hope this attempt at a restart will get somewhere. Anyway, it has also been confirmed that the B5 movies and spin-off series Crusade will be brought out on DVD as well! That’s a start!
