KLM Cithopper F70 taking of from 06/24. Normally this runway is used either for landings or for take-offs, yesterday it was changed quite often. I missed a few interesting planes because of that. For instance a NW 747-200 in the new livery.

Captain Kangaroo must have been at the controls of this plane. It cam bouncing in at 06/24. You will note that the tyres have been giving up quite a bit of smoke. You should also note that the tyres are back in the air again. It bounced 3 times!

Cyprus A320 as seen from the observation platform. I like this livery a lot better than the new one. The new is in my humble opinion is merely a cheap rip-off from the Syrian livery.

Yeah I noticed, I will post the pics the good old way.

The first one is of Bulgari Air. The new flag carrier of Bulgaria. Can someone help me, I lost count, is this their 3rd of 4th flagcarrier in under 5 years?

Nice pics! Especially the Royal Jet is interesting, I never heard of that one. Is it a new airline or something. Where do they come from and fly to?

The IL-96 is also really cool! Shame there aren’t more of them!

I am wondering where you leave your pics. All the sites I know of (amongst other PBASE.COM) don’t allow hotlinking. Therefore I always have to post a seperate post per picture, or only the small preview picture.

    Nice ones!

I really like the Uzbeki, Turkmenistani and the Kuwaiti planes! Unfortunately in a full year of LHR spotting I never managed to get a good shot at the Turkmenistan plane. And they do not fly to Amsterdam! 🙁

You go all the way there for a drink/leak? What I used to do is going to the gas station (BP isn’t it?) opposite Hatton Cross. Saves me a long walk/drive! Sure the prizes may be rather steep, but then again, so are the prizes at the visitor centre!

Anything that has little or no white on it. These spring in mind:

UA (provided the sun is from the right angle)
US (also provided the sun is from the right angle)
KLM (in particular the new one)
NW (just the old one, I don’t care for the new one)
SAS (the new one, it took a while getting used to the two colours for the titles, but the livery is great!)
    Virgin Atlantic/Express/Blue/Sun

Even though it has a lot of colours, I don’t really like BWIA and Air Jamaica. They are to busy for my liking.
