according to reports, this `gang` was two men, both were arrested

I think the gang comprises of slightly more than two, but you are right in saying this is an isolated group in the Islamic community.

Without wanting to sound like a racist, if these men don’t like the rules in the country they know where they can go! :p

The truly sickening thing is, with a criminal record under their belts they’re never going to get a job in this economic climate so they will inevitably be kept warm at the expense of the law-abiding UK tax payer.

Regardless of whether it is right or wrong, the question I keep coming back to is; Why 2018? It just leaves me with such an uneasy feeling in my gut.

Agreed, all it means is an uncertainty cloud hovers over the UK for the next 5 years. God knows what this will do to foreign investment from EU companies during that time.

Perhaps David knows if he were to call a referendum in 6 months time, Britain would almost certainly vote out?

Yes, Bombardier are making the CS300 which competes with the A319 and 737-700.
It’s no surprise, therefore, that easyJet (the largest A319 operator) is deep into negotiations with Bombardier for the type.

Bombardier (unlike Irkut and Comac) has been able to attract the main-stream airlines such as Korean Air, Lufthansa and Republic (Frontier). Though, surprisingly, not Air Canada who is usually the first to jump on the Bombardier band wagon.

In 2011 the CEO of Lease Corporation International (LCI) said in an interview with flight global “[the A319] will struggle against the CSeries” as the CS300 “is a purpose-built design for this particular range and capacity, and a far more efficient airplane than the A319”.

Ha! That meths review wasn’t a one-off. It seems every review has some reference to drinking it 😀

“I thought I had mastered responsible drinking, until that is, I woke up in hospital 2 weeks after hosting my first (and last) Barrettine Methylated Spirit shots party. I don’t know if it was the number of forfeits that broke me or if it was the sixteen pints of Barrettine shandy, but when I eventually collapsed face-first onto a tealight it took three buckets of sand and the garden hose to put me out.”

I also liked the one that combines the two…

“Disappointing product. I bought this mobile phone style flask as a more discrete way of transporting my Barrettine Methylated Spirit drink to the office. Unfortunately as a receptacle it falls a little short, failing as it does to swallow the full 250ml of purple nectar I need to get me through the daily grind”

I can understand the threat of delivery delays as customers don’t want to take on faulting aircraft (BA delayed the A380 after the wing-crack issues).
But I find it unlikely airlines will cancel orders all-together. Most airlines (whether they like it or not) need the 787. The future success of countless airlines relies on this one aircraft, to cancel it from their order books would be corporate suicide with the rising fuel and maintenance bills from aircraft such as the 767.

We had a ‘Pound’ shop in Bury St Edmunds.

Then a ’99p’ shop opened, and shortly after the ‘Pound’ shop closed.

    It made me laugh anyway.

    Moggy

There was a humorous programme on BBC 1 not too long ago about the wars between those two.

Another fantastic set, the Emirates 777 is very photogenic in that light. The baby-bus made me giggle; it really is just a nose, some wings and a tail 🙂

Great set of shots Chris. A few months ago I’d have killed for a few shots of the 787, now it’s very much a regular.

Where were you standing to get these birds?

If you plan on booking soon then perhaps it’s too late. But what’s wrong with just saving up for the trip and buying it all in one go?

I don’t see the difference between setting aside £x each month for the flights until you have enough and paying for the flights in instalments to the airline?
