Truly incredible, it does make me wonder how London ever rebuilt after all this!
I find it hard to comprehend the damage those Londoners must have woken up to on a daily basis. Is there even a square patch of land around Embankment that wasn’t hit?
Certainly gives a new perspective on this famous image
From the map I see two bombs fell down my road, as a Londoner I find this hugely insightful and I now have huge respect for all blitz survivors.
God forbid it ever occurs again.
Thanks Alan

Good shots, what was the RAF Grob doing there? 😮
I agree, I think the ‘so-called’ low cost carriers are a joke!
The LoCos always brag on about how cheap the fares are if you book early… I’m flying to Geneva next summer, the flight is 8 months away and BA, from LHR, was more than £20 cheaper (return) than easyJet from LGW!
Leaving the EU would place barriers between the UK and our major market and force foreign investment to leave the UK, so destroying much of our remaining industry.
It may not have crossed your mind, but we have a large trade deficit with European countries.
We buy far more from the Europeans than they buy from us! So by leaving the EU, it’s actually the European’s that have more to lose where trade is concerned not Britain.
But I don’t see why we should lose trade. Britain has very strong connections with other European countries and as you mention France, Germany & co. has invested billions into the UK over the years… Surely it’s in those nations interests to keep the UK as a strong business partner, otherwise they’ll have to start again from scratch – investing billions all over again in another country.

Genuine question. What will UKIP do to solve the economic issues?
Moggy
From their manifesto I understand they’d be building our way out of the recession. With large investment in infrastructure (nuclear power, rail, road and air services).
Vast industry tax cuts to encourage manufacturing business back to the UK, creating 500,000 manufacturing jobs and reducing the budget deficit – but that’s probably easier said than done…
They would also cut social benefits.

I too, like others, would vote for UKIP…
If The Aviation Forum‘s poll is anything to go by, it’s starting to look like Nigel can expect a landslide victory in 2015? :p
As well as wanting out of the EU; UKIP is also the only party that’s pro-nuclear (which I see to be the only short term solution to the UK’s energy crisis).

Thanks KAL, honoured.
I hope I haven’t offended too many Lebanese? :p
I look forward to capturing the A350 in MEA colours (2018 earliest?), it will be a treat!
Matt
I think it looks great! The fuselage makes me think of a stretched 757.
The front does look somewhat like an angry Pikachu, but it looks like cockpit visibility could be better compared to the 787.
I was talking to someone earlier about this.
CERN will be running the Hadron Collider all through December. What are the chances things get out of hand – a new universe is created that destroys this universe and creates another one, starting again from year 1…
The Mayan’s do believe in a cycled universe after all… I believe we’re in the 5th, soon to be 6th cycle/universe? :diablo:

The Christmas lights seem to get bigger and bolder every year
