TFC has been going for many years now i think, and you have to admire the commitment of Mr Grey and everybody involved who have kept the collection going,as mentioned it must cost a lot of money to run.

A few years ago i did think of trying to become a volunteer but it all looked a bit to technical to me,so instead i joined friends of the
    fighter collection,the log is great.

Like thousands of people in the UK and EUROPE i love to see TFCs
a/c display, but since MR GREY started to display his collection, the airshow scene has changed no end.

Think of all the military bases that held shows that are now closed
in the UK and EUROPE, it has had quite an affect,so there is less shows to attend and there are warbirds flying now here and abroad.

So there is more competition to get the planes booked but less shows around to please all,so it comes down to selling the product i guess and perhaps TFC are losing out.

Gone are the days when TFCs planes go en- mass to a show it would seem, legends is the only outing some get, do you agree
    grayfly?.

If this P38 story is correct( nothing yet out of TFC) the last one they had was very popular at shows and next year being the 60th of D-DAY we may see a few more outings.

There is talk of the ex-swedish P 51D that TFC bought flying at legends, last time i saw the a/c it was well apart they will have to get a move on to have it ready.

Does anybody know if the HURRICANE IV is at duxford yet?lots to do to get the planes ready in time i guess.

    TFC Sea Fury

I have waited for a long while to see TFCs SEA FURY fly and when i last looked at her it looked no different, have they got an engine
    re-built yet does anybody know.

How many engineers have worked on the project, they seem to do a bit on her every now and then must be frustrating not being able to finish the a/c.
