Tempestnut what was the problem you talk about with TFCs Centaurus when they stripped it down, i thought it was OK?
Regarding the Centaurus for VR930 after 3 re-builds you would of thought the
company involved would of got their act together by now, why dont they have a look at the guy doing TFCs Centaurus perhaps he could look at that their one and point them in the right direction.

I think you will find the ME 109G was scrapped at Duxford along with the HE 111 North side of the airfield in the mid 90s.
On the subject of genuine YAK 9s does anybody know what happened to the Richard Goode example i thought it was up for sale a while back.
Looking again at article in Aeroplane and the photo of one of the P47Ds plus the quality of West-Pac restorations there is going to be 3 stock ex- war vet 47s flying again, just wish one was coming to the UK but cannot feel we will miss the boat because there has been an example here for years and nothing has happened to it.
That must of been an excellent expedition to be on in PNG finding
1xP40 3xP47Ds buried anybody know what happened to the P40?.
Sitting in a container for over 7 years has done it no favours i can tell you, i guess the owner wants top dollar for a plane that needs
a restoration now i would guess.
