    3 out of five is possible given a Lottery win… Actually a decent Lottery win would get a flight in the Vulcan I’d have thought 🙂

    Should get up in a C47 this year, and anything else I can scrounge!

    Well, the Classic flight (or not actually, for reasons far to complicated to go into here)is all I know, and I love the work I’m doing on the Dak.

    Are all hangers as cold as No 7 at Coventry though, or are there actually warm ones somewhere?

    If you would like to work with a large fleet of very busy airworthy historic aircraft (of all shapes and sizes- including ex Swiss air force Vampire/Venoms) have a look at http://www.classicflight.com.

    And probably learn to how sing “lady in Red” at high volume and totally out of tune (if last sunday is anything to go by :))

    I guess you had to be there….

    G-VFWE at Hullavington (May 20 – 22nd) will have a few Air Atlantique visitors, not to mention the Dakota volunteers who will be aiming to drink a lot of beer and fall over 😀

    I’ve heard that night vision can be affected after the surgery and there are doubts over the long term effects – nothing concrete though.

    Guess it’s over to our undercover reporter(s) 🙂

    Blimey.. (not literally).

    Does this mean that if you have surgery to correct a problem preventing you getting a medical you’re unfit and need to go through fire to get a ticket, or if you have laser surgery ‘cos you’re sick of wearing bins you still have to have all the hassle?

    What about NPPL medical? There’s no restrictions on driving after Lasik as far as I’m aware so how does this affect the medical?

    While we’re on the subject, what is the position on laser corrective surgery? I’ve often considered having this done, and the cost is coming down considerably (£1200).

    Just seen a Shorts 330 out of Coventry and could possibly be mistaken for a biplane from a distance with that undercarriage and very deep wing strut. Did your sighting have twin fins?

    And did it sound really horrible, like a constipated wasp on speed 🙂
