As for current ownership, I was under the impression that HFL own the Gannet not Kennet. I also know they have requested tools and info on here in the past, so they couldn’t have got everything ‘through the system’.
HFL are returning the aircraft to flight status, but do not own it James.
Steve, you have a PM.
Neil, is it Sunny in the last pic of the second batch? 😉
Certainly one of Historic Aero’s more interesting jobs.
The mod is fairly easy to remove, but grafting on the original (which they also have), will be expensive and labour intensive.
The biggest issue with the aircraft, is the lack of serviceable spares to be able to keep her going.
Thunder City are already aware of 897, as for price, not sure, I will find out.
The aircraft in question is XX897, which currently located outside at Bournemouth Airport.
She has just over 900 hours on the airframe and remarkably, used just 15 F.I, meaning she still has 201 F.I left!!!!!
Biggest issue is the heavily modded nose she sports, which is why an attempt to get her flying in the UK will be twarted.
Will the Victor be there?
Sorry…😀
No, but the Dog will be!!!:D (Sorry, private Kemble joke!)

That link is a little out of date, as sadly, Bob Coles has since passed away.
Any idea what is on the cards for the Dove and Sea Prince?
Jon
They were not discussed, all talk was centred on the Canberra, I am back at LM on Saturday, so will ask the question Jon.
OFFICE !!!!

We have a spare Risbridger in the office, you are more than welcome to borrow it.
Now been advised that it was G-UPPI, not G-UVNR as mentioned above!!
Link to a couple of images of Buccaneer XT272 http://www.blackburn-buccaneer.co.uk/Pages1_files/Radar_Index.html
From the image, it looks like G-UVNR.
Any news on the shackleton?
It was touched on yesterday, something might happen, but I cannot confirm either way.
Different Bruce, Bruce 😀
