What does how futuristic the ship looks have to do with anything Haley? Because its ‘cool’?. Yawn!. There are plenty of civillian vessels that look far more impressive than 2208.

You want to see futuristic and cool?. This is cool:

    http://www.customline-yacht.com/italiano/immagini/popup_gif/est_112_3.jpg

A Custom Line 112′ Super Yacht. I promise you that the good Cdr Bond would much rather do his horizontal reconnaisance aboard that vessel as opposed to a fast missile boat!.

Either way my view is that WanShan probably has this nailed down. Its simply a technology demonstrator for the hull form and, perhaps, has facilities that may allow it to act as a trials platform for antiship missiles – makes sense if your judging the hull stability to test the missiles in the same environment!.

    😮

I admit, Jonsie, the difference between a Gulfstream Learjet
and a Grumman’s F-14 Tomcat, is like day and night. I mean you just can’t
add oranges to apples and say they are equal in every respect.

that must be the most futuristic warship ever…. 😀 😀 😀

    Hey Hey Hey!!!

Eat your heart out Mr. Jet Eye :p !!!

Example: If 007 doesn’t mind the luxurious appointments the
2208 offers and Doc. No’s personal blonde as an added bonus, then, it’s definitely
good enough for the episode “The Empire Strikes Back” :p !

I mean, by all means —
show us your USS Starship Enterprise and see
how SG-1ish it is :diablo: ???

Pakistan test fires nuclear-capable missile: ISLAMABAD, Oct 12: Pakistan today successfully test-fired a ballistic missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads as part of its efforts to boost its defences, a military statement said. (Reuters)

Pakistan Successfully Tests Nuclear Capable Missile, Army Says

Oct. 12 (Bloomberg) — Pakistan successfully fired a medium- range ballistic missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, as part of series of tests on the missile system, the Army said in a statement in capital Islamabad.

The Hatf-V missile of the Ghauri series has a maximum range of 1,500 kilometers (932 miles), the Army said. The missile testing was watched by Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, it said.

The missile, last tested on June 4, “has highly refined guidance and control systems and superior technology capable of achieving the greatest accuracy,” the Army said in the statement. Pakistan’s neighbors, including India, were informed in advance about the tests, the army said.

Pakistan and India, both nuclear powers, have tested a series of missiles since 2002 when the two countries came close to a fourth war. They have fought three wars since independence from Britain in 1947, two of them over the divided Himalayan territory of Kashmir, which is claimed in full by both.

Pakistan and India have moved to repair relations since April last year. Pakistan’s President Pervez Musharraf and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh agreed to resolve all outstanding issues between the South Asian neighbors in a meeting in New York last month.

Damn 🙁 🙁 🙁 !!! Firstly, Chinese engineers, and now this??? Beijing’s now
definitely in range that’s for sure!!! Presidente Musharraf better have a damn good answer
for both these happenings or no more Thunder-ventures that’s for sure :p!!!

*sigh why dont u just hide missiles on ur fishing trawlers whoola u have ideal delivery system. With 1000s of trawler in china most navies will run out of shells and missiles trying to sink all of them.

    Hey Hey Hey!!!

What’s all this about getting near other ships and firing off missiles
and stuff and, what does this have to do with JH7’s and J-11’s??? I mean
I thought this thread was all about how futuristic this mother look.

Looky here! If in doubt, simply imagine Jame’s Bond’s chazin’ after Dr. No in one
of these mothers and :p getting his bonus’s worth, as always :p, inside the cabin of this futuristic
bathtubs with the Doc’s blonde when it’s all finished, done, and over with!!!

I mean must we always enter into a debate over how serious of a killer
these mothers are when we can enter into the shock and awes and the marvels of how cool these
ships look? Or, is that too much to ask for something that’s ChiCom :p ????

    Shishhh  !!!!!
