I like it too, but does it work?

Well… Maybe not! But who knows at this point!!!

Example: If F-15’s gets beaten by Bisons then it
goes to show that appearance is not always what it seems. But, good
appearance does give strong impressions, no???

The F-15 and the J-10 does appear machines to
contend with and that should be sufficient to for the competition
to sweat it out a little before the real test of will???

    My opinion only of course.

Nah, Kim Jong Il doesn’t fly. He takes a special train everywhere he goes (Including China and Russia).

I think this may be related to the 2 ROKAF C-130s mentioned in the other thread. Getting something from the south, but the south not letting the IL-76 fly in to get it, and the North not letting the C-130s flly in to deliver it, so thy meet on “neutral” territory.

    No Airforce-One???

Man… I thought that if the guy have the
balls to go it alone with 7 nations that he would have the
balls to go on an Airforce-One of their own.

I guess he’s not that tough after all…

    Yeh! Right you are Buddy.

Was on a rush to leave
the house. Didn’t double check. All the while, was
    thinking of David copperfield.

    Thanks for the correction.

    Hmmm … as everybody knows: I can’t scan !!! … but I’ll try my verry best !! 😉

    Deino

    1.st try … as a small one complete !!!

    😮

By the diagrams, in a way, your HF-73 almost mimics that of the JH-7
to the very nuts and bolts, or visa versa, whichever way or however you’d prefer to lay it.
And, the JH-7 of course is likely a product influenced by the Tornado, and the Tornado itself likely an
influential by-product of the 60’s era geometric swept wing FB-111

In all, the HF-73 is still a very cool looking design. Sad though that it didn’t make it to the assembly line.

The LCA, IMO, is clearly a design which tries to mimic that of the Mirage
2000 (scaled down version) but a Mirage 2000 with a Hinduistan touch. My personal opinion only
of course. Remember: I said influential by-products. I did not say copies.

Mate, this news has been posted earlier somewhere on this forum

Yeah! Where are those threads though???

Truth: Digging up some of those old threads is like looking for a needle
in a haystack!!! Besides, nothing wrong with repeats. As long as it is not intended as an object
to flame, then people should be permitted to bring up any topic they wish.

I just can’t seem to understand the fuss!!!

Pakistan buys fleet of Mirage jets from Libya
    http://www.spacewar.com/2004/040705105748.4899ecyg.html
ISLAMABAD (AFP) Jul 05, 2004: Pakistan has
turned to old ally Libya to purchase a fleet of Mirage fighter jets and
spare parts, an air force spokesman said Monday.

Now, coupled with some 150 JF-17s expected; the rumored J-10’s
which is said will also be part of Pakistan’s shopping list; this batch of Mirage fighters will put
Pakistan in the formiddable list that I believe even Beijing may feel the jitters…

    Hi, I heard this Plane..F-Ck-1
( Did i get it Right) has engine troubles…and
    she is severly under powered?

You are making a BIGG… BIGGG MISTAKE here when you put
down/joke about the C-FK-1 the way you just did. In case you are not aware, it’s a crime
against humanity to joke about this mighty world class MiG-killer…

Rule of thumb: You never, never, say it’s underpowered…

South Korea wants to acquire 40 more US fighter jets

Will those additional 40 planes ever get to see the lights of day if and when
the Americans has already decided to dispatched 7 flat decks to the region along with some
2 dozen or so F-117 stealth fighters
to the region in a sheer show of force???

This US military builtup: An overkill my opinion over but a few Yahooligans from Kim’s north
who might want to try and make it across the 38th Parallel as a statement. Or, is this maybe an actual
military builtup in attempt to do the guy in
because he didn’t play ball with the world community???

Man… this world’s getting scarrier and scarrier by the nano second…

I wonder if the Americans will meet the same fate, or worst, if with
this mighty bird. Interesting to know if it’s as deadly as Su-27s. Hoping another USAF-IAF joint excercise
will involve this machine soon so that we can see how it really fare.

BANGALORE: Having broken through the sound barrier and performed
complex maneuvers, India’s indigenously developed Light Combat Aircraft (LCA),
Tejas, is now preparing to prove its capability as a weapon platform.

India’s first supersonic will be tested with weapon systems
to gauge its combat capabilities. The prototypes will now be mission-critically
examined for targeting systems and weapon delivery.

The first prototype, Technology Demonstrator-I (TD-I)
had first taken to the skies on January 4, 2001. Together the three
prototypes, (TD-I), TD-II and Prototype Vehicle (PV-I) have completed 236
test-sorties and the fourth aircraft PV-II will join them soon.

‘‘Weapon systems would be tested on PV-I and PV-II,
which is expected to fly by end of this year,’’ a senior officer of Defence Research
and Development Organisation (DRDO) told this paper.

City-based Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), a DRDO
establishment, has designed and developed LCA with the assistance of
various DRDO laboratories and defence PSU Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), which will
take up limited series production for the Indian Air Force (IAF).

‘‘In all probability, basic weapon systems will
be tested on the two Tejas aircraft either by the end of this
year and early next year,’’ the officer added.

The single-seater lightweight, multi-role combat aircraft
has been designed to meet requirements of IAF as its frontline multi-mission tactical aircraft.
LCA will replace IAF’s ageing fleet of MiG-21 aircraft.

As a weapon platform, the aircraft has to perform the role of interception,
close combat, counter air operation and many other critical missions. It can carry air-to-air
missiles, air-to-surface missiles, anti-ship missiles and rocket launchers.

The aircraft powered by American GEF 404 engines has many
state-of-the-art technologies like Fly-by-wire Flight Control System and ulti-Mode
Radar. In the last Aero India-2003, at Air Force Station, Yelahanka in the city, LCA TD-I and
TD-II had flown and recently all three aircraft flew in formation.

For mini-fighters, think the A-4 Skyhawk is the finest example of what a
top-of-the-line mini-fighter is. It was said to be capable of carrying nukes. Matter of factly, the A-4 was the A/C depicted
in the film Mother of All Fears which lost its load in the Egyptian desert.
