On the picture link I gave above, the engine is off.
But if you decrease the thrust of number one, and keep engine nr 2’s N1% equal to nr 3 and 4, you should have a symmetrical thrust. But of course, the engine has to be tested for every flight operation. The only solution I can think of to solve that, is high rudder inputs, or a low thrust setting for engine nr 1.
Now does someone know why the center landing gear is not extended?

Maybe the weight of the cargo was not known and was thus overloaded. But that would have been obious after the previous take off.
    Or the elevators/trim surfaces failed…
Urumqi isn’t a very modern airport isn’t it?

    No new routes.
VLM recently bought new Fokker’s and there is no market for expanding from Antwerp. There is one new Challenger businessjet scheduled for delivery this month for FLying Service. That’s all.
Long haul operations are impossible, the runway is 1510 meters long.

    No cargo orders yet?
The A380 will probably never visit Brussels, except maybe as cargo aircraft or an airline that finds it amusing to let people board outside.

Almost every major airport is able of handling the A380, by parking it on a remote place. Boarding the aircraft would take ages, however.

Their 737’s are mostly delivered in the beginning of the nineties, so they are probably older than 10 years.
Where did their 737-200’s go, where they advanced series or basic?

No way, that city is way too small (in comparison with London for example) for people to come there direct from long haul. If they want to, then they shoud connecT.
You can’t just expect conctinental to do that because YOU like it. an airline is not a natural force, it’s a company that has to make profit.

    Sabena Avro 146-300 :

Such thing doesn’t exist, it is either AVRO RJ 100 or 85 or BAe 146-200, the only stuff they operate (+3 A319’s).
