This may help as well, but they don’t give CN’s and registrations so it’s very hard to know if the aircraft is still operational today or not. Isn’t this one of these still flying today, but eventually re-engined?

No, all Mercure 100’s have been retired since only Air Inter used them.
I think I found it – but it was recently retired. The Boeing Dash 80! http://www.airliners.net/open.file/545490/L/
Wow! I didn’t knew they had -300’s. The flap setting on the 300’s look like 10°, and seeing that they nearly fly horizontally, + the load is probably very low, I estimate the speed at around 180-200 knots. Would the AutoThrottle be used for these operations? Must be, controlling an airspeed manually that has to be exactly correct is impossible. How do you get out of this formation? I guess the 747’s turn left and right and the A340 increase power and pull up.
Maybe the best way is to ask directly to the pilot as they immediately can see what kind of person you are. If you’ll be dressed smart and don’t look like you live in the gutter, the pilot will first ask the captain (if it’s the FA) or make a decision immediately. However I only got access to the cockpit, but the weren’t allowed to stay on the jumpseat.
What airport is SFB?
Yuck, Iberia isn’t home in OneWorld. They really need to do something about their reputation! Their a346 economy class only has a few tv’s, but I can imagine that these movies are propably only in Spanish! Argh, BAD.
Very good, finally some orders. ANA really seem the ideal airline for flying this.
Still, the Fokker 28’s use the same amount of fuel as a 737. Even using the ATP’s with lower load factors would be more profitable than using fuel guzzling (for it’s size) F28’s.
Ye but that’s stupid, the F28’s will generate less profit.
I think you can go to LA with that money.

It was Biman Bangladesh indeed. They replaced BAe ATP’s with much older Fokker 28-4000’s.
No, the airline carries the name of one of the poorest countries in the world.
Kev35, have a look at LGW-BRU with SN Brussels Airlines, they are damn cheap! The two summer months may be a bit more expensive, but even then. Nice pictures.
Good report, would like to see some pictures.
No, no, I’ll help you.
It’s an airline right between middle and far east.
