No, a 737 can’t land in London City. But VLM own landing rights in LCY since their beginning! It’s their major hub!

    A new airline is born

thu 18/03/04 – A new airline was announced today at the airport of Zaventem. TUI Airlines Belgium will operate for touroperator JetAir with its own six aircraft. The new airline employed 300 people.

TUI Airlines Belgium will fly 800.000 holidaytravelles anually for Jetair. The new airline is for 100% Belgian.

They employed more than 300 people, which includes more or less half of the employees of the bankrupt Sobelair.

TUI will fly with six own aircraft and not with two, like previously announced. Five Boeing 737’s (2x 738, 2x 734, 1x 733) will fly to the area around the Mediterannean sea. A sixth 763 will fly to destinations in the Carribean area. Three aircraft will be leased during the peak summer period, owned by a Spanish charter airline.

about the livery… I think it’s gonna be the basic lightblue TUI livery!

Are you sure? It takes 11 years before a filter is completely wasted away!
Maybe they do it to avoid damage to the varnish of their car.

The plan is for the airlines to be run as two entities with SN Brussels taking charge of the European business routes and flights into Africa while Virgin Express continues to service the low-cost European leisure market.

THEN WHY WOULD THEY DO IT ?!

NO WAY I hope they don’t to that, and this source is already talking about definite plans! Can you see it?
    Virgin Brussels airlines or so

It propably effects every airline that flies into Birmingham. Maybe normal airlines don’t find this too bad, but these prices are really important for loco’s.
