Drink someone under table, that expression is exactly used in Flanders! 😀
Yes it is possible, but it means you also have to drink more than normally.

BORING:o Why talk about it anyway? 😀
As i said, they still have to invent the wheel…
No I don’t think so. The TU 154 had three variants in it’s series before the TU204 came as a replacement. There was the fuel-guzzling and with unreliable engines TU 154, Then there was the TU 154M with more efficient and reliable engines and a stretch, and the TU154B2 with another stretch and better effiency. So many improvelents, and the last variant was still not as efficient as the MD80 series.
How do you do that, not too much flaps and a 15° nose down approach?
Nope, had a look at some cabin view pictures, and none of the airlines had televisions. Never saw a Russian airline with entertainment system, well, the IL 96 propably has. I’ll check.
Of course not, the Russians still have to invent the wheel!
Depends on the airline of course, but I think it would be a bit expensive to fit these systems in the old aircraft now. The TU154 still requires three cockpit crews, doesn’t that say enough?
I’ll look for some information about that…

looking good. How many An 12’s are still airworthy cant be all that many can it.
I think more than 50. I doubt they meet stage 3 noise requirements?
That Russian aircraft was an IL18.
After the failure of the nos. 3 and 4 engines on final approach, the crew elected to go around and attempt another landing. The assymetrical thrust forces caused a loss of control.

The Fairchild Hiller (FH227B), a fokker 27 built by Fairchild, had a range of over 4000 km. This would enable the aircraft to stay in the air for 8 hours. This range is not really useful.
Hmm, this MD-300 bends if it’s standing on the ground… 😀
LOGICAL! Because they want to fly them on lower demand routes!!!
