As I’ve said before I like being a defective! But I do think this was a shared victory. It’s likely that the that the Germans had an central evaluation centre for secondary types.
I have to say this is an entirely new aeroplane to me. It is not recorded as a VEF design and to me reflects the French Postal monoplane thinking but I don’t get any ‘vibes’ from the design.
The one in the background could be a Caudron, but my first thought was it was a VEF design. The ‘transport’ appears to have Gnome Rhone engines. Is the picture in France?
Marshalls. Refurbishing and modification. Coningsbys Canberras were also delivered there for conversion from B.6’s to B.15 etc. I used to get trips down in the Anson TX173to pick up the ferry crews.
