NEAM had its share of bad weather today

while the Man City FC lot came in via helicopter

us ground crew got the full downdraft + rain which was intensified due to said “breeze” it carried on from about 14:30 untill around 20:08 when the Dauphin finally departed south..again…drenching the ground crew

who’d have thought grass could get all boggy :p

could it possibly be a glider of some kind…horsa maybe?

or the german equivelent?

@ R&M yeah..us Cadet NCO’s who tied straps were quite bad :p…i took a cadet on his first GIC (gliding induction Course) a few months ago and decided to give him some nice literature to read….engine failure after takeoff warnings briefings etc…he didnt feel too well

and i do believe there have been some incidents with cadets having to use parachutes

i miss the AEF video aswell

something rather pre 80’s period floating over the north east today..most of the day…too high up to work out what…can anyone shed any light….she was south of NEAM…

you could purchase it and then just upgrade it mate…shouldnt be too hard or expensive
