Talking of last minute jobs – I’ve just done the last bit of ‘emailing-work’ to the competition participants from NAM’s Jubilee Competition and it included a big reminder about Cockpit-Fest this weekend! 🙂
I hope that everyone has noted the Harrier addition that went on the list earlier today – 32 cockpits now booked in! 🙂
Three news updates have been added on here this morning: these include: details of the recent competition winners; Wrecks & Relics 23 is now in stock; and another Cockpit-Fest update. 🙂
No, if there was I would have used this 😉 instead of this 😀
I bet that if NAM had £10 for every ‘great opportunity’ there is to secure a Phantom they could have purchased one from the OM!! 🙂
I’m over my photo limit on here, but there are a couple of albums in this web gallery from last year’s event http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/gallery.php 🙂
A similar set will no doubt appear after the weekend of the 2012 ‘gathering’. 😉
😀
Aviation Heritage Lincolnshire (AHL) has again managed to secure a national listing on the BBC Hands On History website for their next talk World War One Aviation In Lincolnshire.
If you follow the link you’ll see some other forthcoming aviation events listed as well! 😉
These items along with these might whet your appetite further! 😉
As an aside Chris do you service weighing equipment as part of the company portfolio? 🙂
… give me a break, I was watching the football! 😀
With the extra influx of sellers since last Friday it looks set to be a great opportunity for some ‘face to face aviation trading!’
Why not make a start at this event this coming weekend? 🙂
It runs alongside Cockpit-Fest!
Re-BBMF, quote from the news item that’s gone out this morning: “Flypast date and timing still to be confirmed.”
Rest assured that my phone is switched on ready for the call!! 😉
Like everyone else I’m keeping my fingers crossed re the weather for the weekend – unlike most other things that’s out of our control.
Over the weekend the museum has seen an upsurge in calls and email traffic about the event this coming weekend; to help with these enquiries a new item has been added in here with all of the basic details for visitors. 🙂
I’m told that today’s post has also brought in 6 additional Aeroboot bookings – so a lot of passes will be kept on the gate and handed out when people arrive. Additional booking forms have also been emailed out this morning and a similar process will follow for these sellers collecting their passes! Good to report several first time sellers amongst these booking!! 🙂
From a bit of talk on the NAM grapevine I understand that there may even be an additional cockpit and other displays to add to the participation list. 🙂
Hi
…
Or wait till the next aerojumble…
😮 😮
BTW – the aircraft looks fantastic! 🙂
?????? who’s been talking? :diablo:
The organiser-in-chief miscalculated! 😀
Another cockpit added to the list for Saturday and a further supporter noted: details in here! 🙂
