What is believed to be ‘The’ longest serving Mk3 Phase 3, left the RAF’s books in May 1977 as part of the ‘Silver Jubilee Cull’ at RAF Finningley. 😉

I don’t take issue with any of your facts re tourism. In fact I thought that it was our third largest source of national revenue and not fifth. But, it is not and never has been Royal family dependant. Tourists come here because we are seen internationally as a rather large Disneyland theme park.

In 2010 five out of the top 20 paid tourist destinations had ‘Royal’ connections!

As for your last statement – words fail me! :rolleyes:
