    You can get an idea of the cut on Newark’s T5 XS417 if you look in the Collecting Aeroplanes album in this Gallery – I believe that it was cut differently to most of the other Binbrook machines! 🙂

    There’re still around 9,000 stored in Hangar 1 at the museum so do worry about them running out – ‘for the time being!’ 😀

    A new album of ‘archive photographs’ has just been uploaded here entitled “Cockpit-Fest – not just cockpits” hopefully this will whet a few appetites regarding both displaying and attending! 😉

    Further Aeroboot bookings have also been received – please keep those coming in!! 🙂

    Thanks for that – it’s taken a while to get there but hopefully it’s been worthwhile – now we’re starting to see that there’s more in Nottinghamshire than Robin H***! 😀

    I quite agree about further support from other councils – at least in these parts North Kesteven District Council also supports aviation; I believe they’re involved with the Whittle celebrations at RAF Cranwell this weekend! 🙂

    I believe that a proposed 51 Squadron reunion may have been dealyed by events in North Africa.

    I think it would be nice if the project was represented at CockpitFest Mike.

    I may (if time permits, pop a small display together, if you wish I could add leaflets and a collecting can?).

    I did make the same suggestion on a previous thread – IMHO it would help raise the profile of the project! 🙂
