:confused: It’s all down to ‘auto-running’ and how the chapters are formatted on DVDs – but I’ll still ask!

Hopefully we won’t be waiting until April but I don’t know for certain as everything is with the team at NCC – even if we do have to wait IMHO it will be well worth the wait! 🙂

I’m fairly certain that displays will be in Hangar 2 again but I would need to check about the cinema idea. IIRC the programmes in there now run off a pre-programmed hard drive of some sort and I’m not sure how easy it is to add or remove footage. I will ask!

There’s a bit more about the new Halam (now spelt correctly) memorial on the village website http://www.halam.org.uk/home.htm this relates to Lancaster ED823 from 1661 HCU at RAF Winthorpe.

I noticed that the HLF signage was up around the chapel area this morning for the Friends of Newark Cemetery project; which will a good scheme when it moves forward.

You know that you’re always welcome at Cockpit-Fest; you could put up the displays this year if you wanted and we could get some cadets to keep an eye on it for you.

The Notts booklet looks OK although we’ve held it back slightly to be able to include the new memorial at Halam, which is being part funded by the same Nottinghamshire County Council Local Improvement Scheme grant body. As soon as it’s ready I’ll be letting everyone know. 🙂

I paid my respects to ‘Herb’ this morning; the flowers still looked nice and the note is legible – a moment of reflection on a cold Notts morning! 🙂

I don’t believe there’s any rush to return paperwork but I just wanted to make sure that everyone has a copy that needs it! 🙂

Sounds like a ‘famous’ addition to the event – do you have copies of the event booking forms etc?
