The Hunter is being transfered from one military establishment to another so the issue of E-Disposals or any other disposal agency doesn’t come into it.

‘Duty Carried Out’ lists some interesting items:

WR977 was the display aircraft at RAF St Mawgan at Home on September 14th 1968 and performed two slots.

Flight Log details in the book seem to indicate that WR977 went the other way “To Kinloss” on loan to 206 Squadron on July 1st 1969, before going for its last major service in December 1969.

WR977 returned to 42 Squadron at St Mawgan in spring 1970, before going to 203 Squadron at Luqa, in August 1970.
