As I said to Scott a couple of posts back I don’t believe that there’s an actual closing date for entries, but it does help the organiser if he knows in advance, for thing like food for the ‘cockpiteers do’ after closing on Saturday night!

Indeed the talk at Newark yesterday was that some ‘regulars’ still hadn’t booked in for the event this year. However it does help the organiser if he knows in advance, for thing like food for the ‘cockpiteers do’ after closing on Saturday night!

Similar story on the Aeroboot; talk of several new participants and some regulars not signed up yet. The lady in the Shop said that around 20 Aeroboot pitches sold so far and she estimates they get a similar number just turn up when they know what the weather’s going to be like. Still able to get a discount for Aeroboot if you pre-book before June 1st!

There are some services detailed below between Newark and Lincoln but you would need to get the driver to stop at the A46 / A1133 roundabout and walk along Drove Lane to the museum.

The taxi services listed on the museum website are reasonably reliable. I would offer to collect you from the station but I know that I will be busy all day. 😮
