Seemed to be a reasonably positive outlook from the stallholders yesterday but it was a bit cold – can’t buy the weather!

There seemed to be a mix of regular traders and some private sellers, with a lot of the business seeming to be done early.

Interesting that the date of the February 2009 event was confirmed as the 28th – although whispers went round giving different dates!!

This is now detailed on the museum website, which includes details of a possible expansion in the number of stalls available. I’ve also been told the £10 fee for a table will remain.

Also just noticed revised opening times are mentioned …

“A special discounted museum admission price of £4.00 per adult will be charged for this event, the revised opening times will be 09.00 to 16.00 hours; with stallholder set up from 08.00 hours.”

Can’t wait for this one, there seems to be a lack of decent aerojumbles up this way, lets hope it becomes a regular fixture.

In the November edition of the museum newsletter a date of Saturday 28 February 2009 was mentioned for another indoor Aeroboot sale.

If they also do an outdoor one at Cockpitfest in June then they will be running 3 per year.

Noted on Newark’s website from earlier in the week

“04.11.08 – ALL the tables have now been sold for this event – 25 in total; BUYERS still required – don’t forget the discounted admission!”
