From what i understand this was the 3rd or 4th deadline to update the document they missed.

I have a feeling there is a lot more to it than just a late doocument!why was it late?could they have been waiting to get all the money first?they only had £45000 of the £70000 needed.

we need answers!I live on walney and this was in the local paper last friday.
WALNEY Air Show has been cancelled, it was announced today.

Organisers say they have been unable to secure the use of BAE’s airfield.

The defence giant says it has not been given enough information to satisfy strict conditions set by the Civil Aviation Authority.

Last year the show attracted 30,000 visitors.

Today event organiser Paul Rose said: “Barrow police had no objection to the safety of the proposed event, nor of their own ability to manage any incident that could have happened on or off site.

“They were very supportive of the committee.

“However, despite all our efforts a vital document was not sufficiently detailed to meet BAE Systems’ corporate standards required for the show to proceed at Walney Airfield.

No its once every two years. Next year will be paris.

If you shoot in raw you have full control ove WB in the converter.

I’ve been in it when Steves done an engine run, it feels as good as it sounds.
Could you send me a couple of high res copies for Steve I’m sure he’d like some.

Fantastic stuff, the Blue Angles and moon pic is my favourite. I should imagine it makes a nice change to be able to post a load of pics rather than just a couple on the P-O-T-N site.

I was there on the friday about 4.30 when they started to come in,man the sound of that merlin made my hair stand on end 😉
