Ah yes forgot the A109, for some reason I don’t log them but do Sikorskys
They were both shuttling in and out of the Farnborough Airshow on a very regular basis this year.
Harrods Aviation is an FBO, Fixed Base Operator. They basically provide all the neccessary ground services for the visiting bizjets. There are two others at LTN, Signature (Very big in the UK) and Gulfstream have their own set up their too. I think Harrods only operate from LTN and STN though? The only plane registered to them is a Sikorsky.
In Guernsey last month we were “bussed” (I use the term loosely it was an LDV) from the Trislander to the terminal, which would have otherwise taken us about a 10 seconds walk
The vast majority of the small minority of people who speak Welsh are in the North of the country, despite meddling attempts by the Welsh Assembly to make everyone else speak it as well! As North Wales and South Wales are divided by some rather inhospitable (if very beautiful) terrain, people from North Wales are going to use Manchester rather than Cardiff, as its an awful lot easier to get to (If the trains are working though, eh Elgan 😉 ) so it would make more sense to make the MAN based crews learn Welsh rather than the Cardiff based ones.
G-CPER, another of my old friends 😀
Yet…;)
6 A320s, 1 A319, and 6 733s although they are recieving new Airbuses quite regularly.
I belive the Dash 8 fleet is STILL the only section of the BACX fleet to be making money?
Nice Gulfstream, one of the new G500s, although I’m not sure who exactly uses it…
Yup, it is an air to air refueller. Apparently, that company is teaming up with Evergreen to convert DC-10s to KDC-10 standard for the same role. They hope to get a contract from the RAF until the FSTA enters service.
And the Subpar Hornet surely needed AAR to get to Farnborough… 😀
Which explains their prescence at PIK how…? 😉
Superb pics, that 707 brought those Hornets to Farnborough in the airshow weeke, and came in and out as a support aircraft twice. Not entirely sure what its up to at PIK though as its certainly not its first time there :S
Nice pics Dan, one day I will get myself up to STN to spot, rather than fly on a a 0.01p flight 😀
Euromnax have absolutely no planes, or crews of their own, and Rossair is still very much alive. There are 2 ATR42s and 6 Beech 1900s that are in the Rossair Europe (PH register) fleet, and the planes provideservices for Euromanx, rotating around every couple of weeks.
Just means less repainting to do on the aircraft already in SAS colours, and they only have to paint over 25 or so older 737s.
Yep its run with a Saab except on Sunday when they still bring the ATP.
British North West fly using PA31s not EMB110s as well (G-OBNW and G-PMAX)
