Very nice indeed 😀 Any pics of his further transportation to Normandy?

And I think it is EMB190 not ERJ190 as it is not being marketed as a regional jet 🙂

I have sadly only ever flown British and Irish carriers, and so my choice is rather limited, however I would say mine was a few years ago when we went for a day trip to the Scily Isles, flying from Penzance to Tresco and then from St Marys back to Penzance on a Skikorsky S.61.
I was quite young at the time and don’t remember it incredibly well, but it was a very interesting experience from what I do recall!!

Definitly using it on WAW-FRA atm (As I saw it…yay!) and WAW-MAN is proposed too I believe.

The INV route seems a little weird to me, any idea how well it is performing at the moment Sonnenflieger?

Yup I use the AR108 as well, nice and cheap, and very durable! I have left it in the garden overnight in the rain several times (accidently of course) and it still works!

Interesting report, and encouraging to know that I am not the only one that noticed the Q for Quiet Dash 8 Q400 seems more noisy and more uncomfortable on the longer sectors, I flew BHD-LGW on one last year, and found it rather distracting, albeit quite soothing, making me full asleep for the first time ever on an aircraft! It only lasted a few seconds though as I fell forward and smashed my head on the seat in front, a process which was repeated 4 or 5 times 😀

    Interesting report!

G-MANL is amongst G-BLNJ (An Islander) as one of the last 2 planes in the old old Landor colours. However all the Islanders except this one have been repainted, so I imagine MANL will be the last plane to wear those colours.

OK I see, your first post seemed to indicate you were flying BA and not FlyBe 🙂

G-CPEM is the only one in the fleet with no Black Ring on the nose, so yes, OneLeft, that is you 🙂

Were you flying BA then? If the flight to BHX left why were you not on it? I don’t quite understand :S

Emirates is another airline, they ditched their A343’s for 777s.

Who have now just gone and bought a whole load of A343s from Singapore 😉

Doesn’t look like his return has been badly effected. I think he was going FlyBe. The penultimate FlyBe BHX-EDI was a few minutes early, the last flight about half an hour late (Trying to load all his motor show bags in :D)

However no info on departures on baa website!

    G-XLAC c/n 29051

    G-OXLA c/n 30619

    N733MA c/n 30619

So G-OXLA and N733MA are the same. N735MA as on Jethros is incorrect.

The customer code for this aircraft is 1Q, which belongs to Tombo Aviation.
On further investigation Tombo Aviation is a small leasing company of about 33 aircraft, so 30619 belongs to it.

30619 was initially delivered to Miamia Air on 30/05/01, then went to Excel one day later, then went back to Miami Air on 05/11/01 then back to Excel on 31/05/02 then back to Miami Air on 01/11/02, and now back to Excel this month!

For an aircraft so young its been through the 2 airlines a hell of a lot of times!!!!
