I believe there is no actual requirement for A levels in Maths and Physics, but as Martin will tell you, you must have a certain amount of knowledge on them to get through the acceptance tests.

Easyjet ran the route a few years back, but dropped it due to a lack of demand. I reckon VLM might be a likely candidate if they can squeeze it into LCY.

Airbus need a rival to the 7E7, which would slot in as a replacement for the A300/310. I think that will be there next project they are working on, alongside a new SST 😀

Hmm, a difficult one. SWISS were extremely keen to join Oneworld a while back, but BA were holding them back due to the threats of expansion at Zurich.
Personally I don’t think that it is any worse a situation for BA than expansion at Dublin or Madrid, and I think SWISS would make a quality addition to Oneworld providing they can get a bit of a cash boost.
Because of that Lufthansa might also get it I suppose, although neither airline has a lot of cash to spend.
Personally I think they will end up in Onworld, as they are basically in the alliance anyway! However I thought this for LOT too, and look where they ended up…!

Eventful seems to sum it up well! Very nice pics Kev, what other airports does that Balkan holidays Tu154 operate to? I know it does LGW, and I think LBA too?

NOW are implementing a fixed price policy. Therefore EVERY flight to MAN will cost £70. BA’s fares start at £59, sometimes a little bit less, and BMI’s are similar. I flew from LHR back in March, and once you are in the air it is a half hour flight, however if you are unlucky you can spend longer on the ground taxiing!

Coming home from LHR yesterday there were several hundred people parking their cars on the dual carriage way, standing on roundabouts etc. to get a good view, so I don’t blame them really for showing a prescence.
4 police patrols passed us yesterday below the approach to 27R, and one jammy person had actualy managed to park their car between a bill board and a building! It was invisible from the road, but all the police walking past didn’t seem to care, so I do think we have them on our side in the “us vs BAA” argument!

A330, have you removed your competition post? I can’t seem to find it anywhere?
