What time are you all staying until? Like Wannabe I’ve got college, and I can make it up for, hopefully, 5? Will you all still be there then, and if so for how much longer?

The engines, and the blue underside don’t go very well IMHO. The logo doesn’t strike me as being too bad, it’s a “Modernised” version of the old one that sits quite well I think.

I seem to recall that most safety cards I have seen say “Please leave in seat pocket”

Just to let you know, assuming we are still on 27’s on Thrusday it’s landing 27L in the morning, switching to 27R at 1500.

Ren, thats exaclty the approach they have taken at MAN. Let’s just hope BAA pay attention (With A330Crazy’s help of course!) and implement the same philosophy.

Scotair have a very good reputation on the route, my cousin fly’s with them all the time, however they have said they “welcome the competition” hmm, I don’t think so somehow!

To be honest i think it looks far too similar to US Air’s colours. However I am not the best one to talk on colours! 😉

Kabir, the tail will be changed shortly.

Wysiwyg, they are ex Gill Air machines, but I am not sure where they have been stored though.

OMG! That viewing area used to be a superb spot, and I thought it was secure due to the fact that BAA must have been raking it in! Like Wannabe said, whenever I’ve been there it has been packed, the last time I was there it was full of people, despite the fact it never stopped raining!
Why can’t they just take a look at Manchester, it’s a much more sensible approach to things. All we need now is a tabloid to pick up on the fact that closing viewing terraces might contribute to terrorism! That would get them opening things up again!

Liverpool is quite interesting, although it’s a bit awkward as goes viewing, and the security is abnormally tight all round the airport.

I think the general consensus was that the ATR’s would gradually take over from the Saab’s. That livery is an interim one though, there is to be some more work done to the tail I believe.

America West and BA have some deal on routes on the West coast I think. They are shown on the “High Life” map anyway.

However it can often swing the other way. LOT had codeshares with several OneWorld members, including BA, however decided to join STAR in the end.
As they say it ain’t over until the fat Lady sings!
